This blog is a dedicated space for poets of all kinds. Our aim is to share the work of those hidden in the writing community and of course some from our favourites. We try to find new talent, as all of the staff members have different, diverse taste. Thank you for visiting -- Let the inspiration flow.

Here’s Your Love Poem…

umustcreate:

Tonight I feel like
ripping your heart
out through your ribcage
and sacrificing it
to the Jaguar God,
that’s how much I love you.

Punching my fist right
through skin, gristle
and bone, climbing
to the top of the square
pyramid, holding it aloft
and squeezing
until the blood
runs down my arm.

I love you so much
no one else
will ever have
you.

blood.

wordsbecomeswords:

if I dug under my skin
and tore out my veins
there’d be a subway
system in front of your
eyes.

3 am red eyes to your
eyes through my eyes
and scheduled stops at
all major locations (heart,
lungs, fingers, tongue,
lips)

hurry on aboard, the
train will depart soon; as
soon as the heart contracts
and sends us on our way through
my veins and your veins, what a rush.

Blood

a-macquarrie:

She’s in your blood now
her face on the deeps
and her skin in your head.

Every shadow has her profile
every billboard bears her face
and she won’t wash out.

She’s in your blood now
her eyes reflect yours like a hall of mirrors
and she won’t wash out.
